Bandon is a city in Coos County, Oregon, located on the south side of the Coquille River. The town was named in 1873 by Irish peer George Bennet after his hometown, the city of the same name in Ireland. At the 2010 census, the population was 3,066. The town is a popular tourist destination for its many attractions and unique shopping opportunities. It’s also one of the most popular places to visit in Oregon.

There are many things to do in Bandon. First, you can go fishing and kayaking. The area around Bandon is very beautiful, and many people choose to come here to enjoy the fishing and other outdoor activities. There are also many state parks to explore, including the less-traveled Floras Lake State Park. This park is completely undeveloped and thickly forested, and you can camp right next to the lake for no cost.

While visiting Bandon, you should also visit the nearby Seven Devils Beach, which is located just south of town.
