Boone, North Carolina is a town in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Its attractions include the Hickory Ridge Living History Museum, which re-creates life on a 17th-century homestead. The Daniel B. Park plays host to a seasonal drama, Horn in the West. For a panoramic view of the area, visit Grandfather Mountain, where the high suspension footbridge and nature museum will delight you.

The town is home to a thriving art scene and has plenty to do outside. Hiking trails and nature reserves are among the most popular outdoor activities, and the Tweetsie Railroad provides a fun and safe way to spend the day. Children can experience the thrill of zip-lining and skiing at the Grandfather Mountain Wildlife Habitats, and adults can visit the Linville Falls Winery and Chetola Resort for a relaxing spa experience.

For the whole family, Raccoon Holler RV Park offers spacious and affordable cabin rentals. This campground is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway and is pet-friendly. It’s only three miles from the New River, where you can go fishing or swimming. Nearby, you’ll find plenty of arts and crafts shops. It’s the perfect spot to experience the natural beauty of the region. And if you have a dog, you can bring it along with you to the Blue Bear RV Resort.

Located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Raccoon Holler Campground is a family-owned campground offering a variety of amenities. This park is located 3 miles from the New River, which makes it ideal for swimming and fishing. The city is home to several historical sites, such as the Church of the Frescoes, and plenty of crafts shops. It’s easy to explore the region while camping, and you’ll have a relaxing time with friends or family.

The town is a quaint and charming town in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Visitors can find great hiking opportunities in the mountains and take part in outdoor sports such as whitewater rafting and kayaking. You can do this activity almost any time of the year. If you’re visiting Boone during the warmer months, you can even go camping. You’ll be able to enjoy a peaceful night at the Horton Hotel Rooftop Lounge. You can dine at several fine restaurants while enjoying the beautiful panoramas.

If you’re a camper, consider staying at the Flintlock Campground. It’s a great location for camping, but it doesn’t have any restrooms. If you’re on a budget, consider the Honey Bear Campground, which is less than three miles from downtown Boone. This campground has many seasonal events, such as a yearly craft fair and a teepee festival in late August.
