On California’s Monterey Peninsula, you can spend an entire day or a weekend in Carmel by the Sea. The town features a picturesque cliff-top church, a mission, fairytale cottages, and museums. The city also has scenic bluff paths and a whaling museum. Its charming downtown is filled with boutiques and restaurants. Whether you are visiting for the first time or have been here for decades, you can expect a warm welcome.

You can also visit the Carmel River State Beach, which is one mile long and popular for kayaking, bird watching, and diving. The water is not so clear, but it is visually stunning and popular among visitors. You can even bring your dog to the Carmel River State Beach, which is dog friendly and not only beautiful, but is also ideal for swimming and kayaking. Alternatively, you can take a ferry to the pier and enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the many restaurants and cafes.

A trip to Carmel by the Sea would not be complete without a trip to the WeatherTech Raceway, which is just a mile away. It’s a great place for watching the race and watching the action. There’s no shortage of activities and sights to explore in this town, and you can enjoy your trip by bringing your pets along. The beaches and surrounding area are gorgeous and worth a visit. Once you’ve visited the area, you’ll want to stay as long as possible.

There are many things to do in Carmel. The picturesque town has several miles of beaches. The Tickle Pink Inn is famous for its enormous suites, which overlook the ocean. But it’s also very expensive. Other excellent choices include the Quail Lodge & Golf Club and the Sandpiper Inn. If you are visiting with your family, the Carmel Valley Ranch is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The property features an array of great amenities, and it is pet-friendly.

Camping is a great way to enjoy the town. The many campgrounds have hot showers and coin-operated laundry facilities. Those who are military members can reserve their campsites up to four months in advance. They also offer free wifi. Despite its small size, Carmel by the Sea is the perfect destination for a family vacation. With so much to do and see, there’s no reason to stay in one place. It is a great way to relax and enjoy the scenic vistas.

Whether you are camping in a tent or an RV, you’ll have plenty to choose from. The local campgrounds are located near the town, and many of them offer beautiful views of the Big Sur River. If you’re bringing a family along, you may find a campsite in the city with a view of the canyon. You can also rent one of the cottages on the bay. There are a number of great places to camp in Carmel by the Sea.
