The valley in Jackson Hole, Wyoming is about 48 miles long and 8 to 15 miles wide. The valley floor rises to more than 6,800 feet above sea level in the northern portion to just over 6,000 feet at its southern end. There are many things to do and see in Jackson. You can go horseback riding or go for a scenic drive in a Jeep, or take a trip on horseback. There are plenty of museums in Jackson, as well.

You’ll find several campgrounds in Jackson. Curtis Canyon is a great spot for camping. It sits above the National Elk Refuge. The site has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and is safe for families. Snowshoe tours typically go to the Grand Teton National Park. Depending on your budget, you can find a place to camp in one of the several RV parks. There are also many places to eat in Jackson.

During the summer months, Jackson Hole is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Its combination of western heritage and destination resort draws visitors from across the world.
