15 Best Campgrounds near Palm Beach

June 2, 2022 | More: Campgrounds| Palm Beach

Palm Beach is one of the wealthiest towns in the US, located across Lake Worth. The town was developed by industrialist Henry Flagler at the turn of the twentieth century. He also built the railroad from Miami to Palm Beach and the town is still home to his historic house, the Flagler Museum. For a taste of Palm Beach’s rich history, you should visit the Flagler Museum. If you have never been to Palm Beach before, here are some tips for a memorable vacation.

The Palm Beach Motorcoach Resort is set among 2,000 acres of tropical landscape. Its boutique-style accommodations offer privacy and seclusion, yet it’s convenient to downtown West Palm Beach attractions. Premium RV hookups and amenities are provided at this RV park. Visitors can also use the clubhouse and enjoy a picnic lunch in the park’s shaded area. And, for those seeking a more hands-on experience, there’s also a 2,000-acre nature preserve.

If you’re looking for an RV park, West Palm Beach has excellent RV parks and campgrounds. These are perfect for temporary homes, and many RVs come back year after year. The park also provides access to shopping facilities, restaurants, and more. The beach is just three miles away. In addition to the beaches, you’ll find excellent dining options, including gourmet dining. If you’re traveling with family, you can take advantage of the campground’s amenities, such as pools and playgrounds.

As far as agriculture goes, Palm Beach County leads the nation in sweet corn and sugar production. In fact, nearly 18% of all sugar in the United States is produced here. In addition, it’s the state’s top producer of rice, Chinese vegetables, celery, and lettuce. And because there’s so much money to be made from these crops, Palm Beach has plenty to offer. Just be sure to reserve a site well in advance.

For golfers, the area is paradise. The PGA Honda Classic is held annually in Palm Beach County and has over 160 courses to choose from. The Breakers Ocean Course is Florida’s oldest course and features hundreds of palm trees and six lakes. Guests can enjoy spectacular views of the ocean while playing golf in this tropical paradise. Alternatively, they can play at PGA National Resort & Spa, home to the PGA Honda Classic. Five world-class golf courses in Palm Beach include the Palmer course, the Arnold Palmer course, and the PGA National Resort & Spa.

Jupiter was the first non-Native American settlement in the area. The Jupiter Lighthouse was first maintained by civilian residents in the 1860s and was opened for tourism. The development of the Jupiter and Lake Worth Celestial Railroad and Henry Flagler’s Florida East Coast Railroad opened Palm Beach County to interstate trade and tourism. Juno was the temporary home of the Dade County government center, which moved to the city. The former courthouse is now part of the Oakbrook Square Shopping Center.
