The city and bay of Gig Harbor are both located in the Puget Sound area. They are part of Pierce County, Washington. The population of Gig Harbor was estimated at 12,026 in the 2020 census, up from 7,126 in 2010. This is a great place for people who like the outdoors and have an appreciation for nature. The city is a popular vacation spot and is home to many outdoor recreation activities. Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot or a lively nightlife, Gig Harbour has it all.

If you’re looking for something to do on your trip to Gig Harbor, Washington, consider a trip to the nearby Sunrise Beach. This park has 82 acres of land that is beautiful. The beachfront is about six acres. You can hike or bike along two miles of trails to explore the surrounding forest and see the views of Mount Rainier. There are plenty of outdoor activities in Gig Harbor, and you can also enjoy the view of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and Vashon Island from this picturesque location.
