15 Best things to Do in Los Angeles California

May 11, 2022 | More: Los Angeles California| Things to Do

If you’re planning a trip to Los Angeles California, here are some interesting attractions. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, or LACMA, is a 20-acre campus designed by Robert Irwin. Designed as a giant labyrinth, it has over 500 species of flora. Visitors can take part in an enlightening tour, or shop for souvenirs. Whether you’re a die-hard collector or simply like a creepy atmosphere, you’ll want to visit this museum. It’s known for its encyclopedic collections, and it’s definitely worth a visit.

A visit to Universal Studios is a great way to see some of Hollywood’s biggest hits. The tour, open to anyone over the age of 10, takes you around 65 acres of land, including the sound stages, famous sets, and other attractions. You must reserve a tour before you visit. For bibliophiles, the Last Bookstore is a must-visit. It is home to many world-famous films and TV shows.

In the city of San Pedro, a trip to the famous Laurel and Hardy musical theater is not complete without a trip to the iconic Music Box Steps. The Micheltorena Stairs are another attraction not to be missed. Nearby, Los Angeles is also home to the Sunken City. In 1929, a huge landslide destroyed a large part of San Pedro and some of Point Fermin Park.

While visiting Los Angeles, you can also visit the Original Farmers Market for fresh, organic, locally grown food and craft items. This iconic Los Angeles California landmark is a popular destination for gourmands and foodies alike. Over 100 stalls and restaurants feature craft brews and experimental cocktails. The market is open seven days a week. It is also the perfect spot for a date in Los Angeles, California. You can enjoy live music every Friday night or attend a trivia game.

The California Science Center is the perfect place for those looking for education, exploration, and excitement. While admission to the museum is free, certain exhibits may require a fee, and timed tickets are recommended during peak seasons. Among the most popular exhibits, the Ecosystems showcase reveals a diverse range of ecosystems. The Creative World exhibit, meanwhile, teaches guests about architecture and transport. Space enthusiasts will find the Air and Space showcase to be particularly interesting.

If you’re a stargazer, you’ll have a great time at the Griffith Observatory. Named after controversial Los Angeles philanthropist Griffith J. Griffith, the Griffith Observatory opened its doors in 1935. At over one million square feet of exhibit space, the observatory features a powerful Zeiss telescope that attracts 600 people a night. In addition to its spectacular view of the city, the observatory also offers planetarium shows and exhibition spaces.
