Hiking: A great way to enjoy the island is to take advantage of the island’s hiking trails. There are nearly 25 miles of paved trails that connect the island’s campgrounds, forests, and Historic Landmark District. You’ll get to experience spectacular ocean views and starry nights as you explore the island’s lush, wooded hills. You can even bring your dog along with you if you’re traveling with your pet, but be sure to keep them on a leash!

This museum opened in the year 1953 and features hundreds of pieces by American and European artists. It’s the crown jewel of the Arts District.
