While visiting Santa Barbara California, you’ll want to take a day to spend outdoors. There are several natural attractions in the city. One of them is the Santa Barbara State Beach, a gorgeous stretch of sandy shore surrounded by palm trees. Aside from being popular for surfers and volleyball players, West Beach is also a great hop-on point for kayaks and sail boats. And don’t worry, the beaches are dog-friendly, so you’ll be able to bring your pup along for the ride.

The Santa Barbara Zoo offers several unique experiences including giraffe feedings, a giant animatronic T.Rex, and a butterfly garden. Visitors can also take advantage of the Museum’s Nature Exchange program, which allows them to trade items with local plants and animals. There is also a resident naturalist to answer questions about the area’s wildlife and ecosystems. And the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History also features the Sea Center, which is located on the historic Stearns Wharf. The Sea Center provides up-close encounters with marine animals, including dolphins, seals, and whales.

You can also enjoy the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, which features a historic Mission Aqueduct and a pond. The former Chumash-built Mission Dam was used to supply water to the Santa Barbara Mission. A number of historic landmarks can also be found in the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, including the Mission Church and the Cathedral of the Holy Sepulchre. The Funk Zone is a lively neighborhood between Highway 101 and the Pacific Ocean, next to the Amtrak Station. There are many museums and galleries in Santa Barbara that are worth visiting.

The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum is a great place to explore the coastal history of central California. Exhibits cover topics ranging from shipwrecks to whaling. There are also exhibits about Lighthouse Women Keepers, and the Maritime Museum. The museum has plenty of seating along the Santa Barbara Harbor, which is great for people who love seaside dining. For lunch, make sure to order the Brophy’s Bloody Mary!

You should also try ice cream, which is the local specialty of Santa Barbara. McConnell’s ice cream is owned by three different families. With its variety of flavors and many locations, you’re sure to find a delicious and decadent treat. Don’t forget to pick up a cone for dessert, too. The ice cream is delicious and decadent! The Art, Design & Architecture Museum offers over 5,000 pieces of art, including the works of Andy Warhol. The museum also features a gallery of local artists and designers. And if you’re into art, you can learn about the history of Californian architecture. You can also take a food tour to sample some of the city’s local fare. If you’re looking for a cultural experience, it is well worth your time.
