In 1776, the town has a large population of 700, and Ebenezer Babson witnesses Indian and French soldiers in the area, including mysterious guns.
In the same month, the town is host to several music festivals. One of the biggest annual events is St. Peter’s Fiesta, sponsored by the Italian-American community, which celebrates the saint’s feast day.
