The historic district of Golden, Colorado is an interesting place to visit. The Astor House Hotel Museum and the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum are both nearby. History buffs will enjoy visiting the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, Colorado. It’s home to an extensive collection of historic rolling stock and other railroad-related exhibits. There’s also a 15-acre rail yard and an extensive G-scale garden railway. The museum also offers guided tours of its historic roundhouse. If you’re not interested in trains, there’s also a great outdoor park with a giant outdoor screen. If you’re interested in wildlife, the nature center also has a motion cam that runs throughout the night. The camera has caught elk, moose, and black bears on its camera.
