Goshen, New York, is a village in Orange County. The population was 5,454 at the 2010 census. The town is the county seat of Orange County and is part of the Poughkeepsie–Newburgh–Middletown metropolitan area. The Goshen-Newburgh-Middletown area includes several cities and towns, including Middletown, N.Y., and Poughkeepsie.
