If you want to sample a different kind of beer than what you find in your local bar, try one of the many craft breweries in Kingman. Each of these establishments offers different types of beer, so you’re sure to find one that suits your preferences.

To get a feel for the local history, visit the Historic Route 66 Museum, located inside the former Kingman Powerhouse. This museum opened in May 2001 and features daily exhibits that chronicle the history of America’s Mother Road. In 2014, the museum unveiled the nation’s first Route 66 electric vehicle exhibit, where you can admire vintage electric cars. You’ll also be able to see vintage vehicles and relive the spirit of Route 66.

There are many reasons to visit Kingman. For instance, the desert climate and the natural beauty of the area make it an ideal place to live. Moreover, you’ll find that the city is well-known for its mild climate, which makes it ideal for active retirement. As well as being on Route 66, Kingman is also the gateway to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and the recreation areas near Lake Mead and Lake Mohave. The mining industry in Kingman is rich in history. Kingman, Arizona was a major center of gold and silver mining during the 1890s. The area was also used for detention of polygamy suspects during the Short Creek raid in 1953. This resulted in an influx of miners and businesses along the trail. There are even preserved ghost towns along the route, such as Chloride, which is now a popular restaurant.

The Bonelli House was the home of a prominent Kingman family in the early 1900s. It was rebuilt from tufa stone found at a local quarry. The Bonelli House is a treasure trove of donated antiques. It also features a coal-fired kitchen stove and a twenty-gallon water tank. While you’re here, you can try out some of the unique art and crafts available.
