15 Classic Souvenirs from Rockport MA

June 20, 2022 | More: Souvenirs

If you’re planning to visit Rockport, MA, you’ll want to check out its restaurants and waterfront activities. Originally, the town was a dry town, but it has recently become an alcoholic town. This makes it an excellent place to indulge in a lobster roll and a martini. It’s also a great place to grab lunch before heading back for the sunset. To get the best dining experience, make reservations in advance.

One of Rockport’s best-known shops is Soulstice, a charming shop on Bearskin Neck. The owners are warm and friendly, and they feature their dogs in their social media posts. Their dogs even have their own Instagram accounts, and there’s a Golden Retriever gracing the shop’s wall. The owners sell items that have a spiritual and religious message. And if you’re looking for a unique gift, check out David Arsenault’s Art Gallery at 8 Dock Square.

While you’re in Rockport, MA, take advantage of the limited parking available to make the most of your visit. The main street is lined with cute shops and galleries selling locally-made wares. One of Rockport’s most popular shopping districts is Bearskin Neck, a quarter-mile stretch of quaint shops, galleries, and eateries. If you’re looking for some locally-made art, there’s a glass shop featuring art-deco inspired pieces by local artists. Or, you can shop for clothes and home accessories at Carol Lee’s Cottage, which is also full of art.

Another place to shop in Rockport is Katie’s Gift Shop and The Pewter Store. You can pick up souvenirs from local artisans or buy branded items. Both shops are open from 11:00 AM to 5 PM. While you’re here, you can also spend some time on the beautiful golden sand of Front Beach. The main beach is located west of the main headland. It’s mostly sandy, with a few rocky areas. This beach is a great place to catch a glimpse of the sea and watch the waves pound the shore.

If you’re planning a day trip from Boston, Rockport is an easy commute by train. The commuter train from North Station to Rockport takes less than an hour. And unlike Boston, it’s also worth noting that Rockport’s population doesn’t always seem to peak during the summer months. And don’t let the idea of ’90s era shoes turn you off. The town has much more to offer than just that.

Another great place for hiking in Rockport is Halibut Point State Park. Halibut Point State Park is a picturesque oceanfront area. It features hiking trails and incredible views of Babson Farms Quarry. The park offers a variety of other activities as well. There are even some historic places to visit while on vacation. There’s something for everyone in Rockport. Enjoy this beautiful town for the holidays, and you’ll never want to leave.
