15 Classic Souvenirs from St Pete and Clearwater Beaches

July 11, 2022 | More: Souvenirs| St Pete and Clearwater Beaches

If you are looking for the perfect beach vacation in Florida, St Pete and Clearwater are two of the best choices. You’ll find everything you need to know about both towns, their beaches, and things to do when you visit. Here are some of the best things to do in St Pete and Clearwater:

Tampa is a short drive from St Pete and Clearwater, and it has plenty to offer visitors. Downtown St. Pete has a burgeoning dining scene, including several rooftop bars. The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort and Golf Club offers luxury rooms and a rich history. Other cultural attractions in St. Pete include Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays. Beach Drive, which is dotted with local boutiques, has a Saturday farmer’s market.

Visiting St Pete and Clearwater is a great way to experience year-round Florida sun. The beaches and waterfront are filled with colourful homes, bright colors, and welcoming people. You’ll be able to spend the day relaxing by the water, playing volleyball, or catching rays with your friends and family. If you’re visiting from out of town, you can enjoy the Gulf Coast by taking a boat tour. If you don’t feel like driving, the coast bike share system in St. Pete makes cycling safe and easy.

When it comes to shopping, there are several great places to find souvenirs and gifts. The Pasa-Grille district is a great place to go for ice cream. The area is also dotted with colorful stores and restaurants. Pass-a-Grille also offers an upscale, quiet residential enclave. You’ll find unique shops and restaurants, and a public beach that is perfect for families.

If you’re traveling by car, the drive between St Pete and Clearwater is 17 miles to 28 kilometers. It should take approximately 35 minutes to drive in normal traffic. Along the way, you’ll stop at the Ellenton Premium Outlets and the Manatee Public Beach. If you’re traveling by air, you’ll pass through St. Petersburg and Tarpon Springs. You’ll pass by several popular cities while traveling between St. Pete and Clearwater, including Tampa and St. Petersburg.

While the beaches in St. Petersburg and Clearwater are great for families, you’ll also find activities that are perfect for kids of all ages. For example, Caladesi Island, voted the second best beach in the U.S. by Dr. Beach, is accessible by ferry from the Dunedin Causeway or by kayak. In addition to the beach, you’ll find jetties and undeveloped shoreline in the southwest section of Clearwater Beach. Often, surfers will find big waves right off the jetties here.

Besides the Gulf of Mexico, Clearwater and St. Pete Beaches offer great dining and family entertainment. The cities are also connected by the Beach Trolley, and crime rates are extremely low. These two cities are great for a family holiday in Florida. So what are you waiting for? Get on the beach and visit the Sunshine State! Make your next beach holiday a memorable one! You’ll never regret it!
