If you’re looking for a major seaport city with a rich history, you’ll love Baltimore. The birthplace of the U.S. national anthem, Fort McHenry, sits at the mouth of the city’s upscale Inner Harbor. The area is teeming with upscale crab shacks and boutiques, as well as the Civil War-era warship USS Constellation. The National Aquarium is another popular attraction.

One of the best ways to see the city and its surrounding areas is to take advantage of the many trails that run through the city. There are some fantastic trails right near Baltimore, including the Stony Run Trail, which is one of the city’s most popular urban trails. This path passes through urban neighborhoods, as well as areas of natural beauty and forest. It’s perfect for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and get in touch with nature.

One of the most popular and easily accessible trails in the city is the Loch Raven Reservoir Trail, which runs alongside Mattawoman Creek. The trail is a great way to exercise while taking in the sights of wildlife and nature. There are a variety of short and long hiking trails that make for great family outings. Whatever your level of fitness, the trail is a great way to get in some fresh air and a sense of the city’s history.

For a more leisurely hike near Baltimore, check out the Swallow Falls Canyon Trail. This 5.2-mile trail winds past picturesque waterfalls and through beautiful forests. It’s an easy hike and can be done with the whole family. If you have kids, this is a great option and a great way to spend a sunny day. With so many trails in the city, there’s bound to be something to please everyone. It’s also a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family.

For more adventurous types, the Jones Falls Trail is a great place to explore. This 10 mile loop runs from the Inner Harbor to Mount Washington Light Rail Station, and is ideal for families and bikers. It’s mostly a walkable path, but there are bike lanes on the trail for biking and hiking. This hike is not only scenic, but it also offers some of the best views in the city. If you enjoy hiking and exploring, this is a great way to get some exercise while exploring the city.

The Jones Falls Trail is an easy to follow path that runs mostly along the length of the city’s Jones Falls. It winds through urban neighborhoods and serene natural areas. If you’re a biker, the trail begins at the Inner Harbor and ends at the Mount Washington Light Rail Station, where bikers can return without any difficulty. The trail is mostly a walking path, with some bicycle lanes. A bike can ride through the trail and stop for short distances.
