October 22, 2021 | More: Hiking Trails

If you are planning a trekking trip in Italy, you will definitely want to check out the fabulous hiking trails in and around Bari Italy. It is no doubt one of the best places in all of Italy for trekking. It is considered by many to be one of the best trekking destinations in all of Italy.

Bari is a town on the Adriatic Sea’s southern tip, and is the capital of Venetian Puglia region. Its central piazza, called “soruario ano,” or open square, surrounds a group of gray umbrellas that line the harbor. Surrounded on three sides by palaces, temples and gothic buildings, its ancient residential neighborhood, baro, is home to some of the finest hotels and restaurants in Venetian town. To the south, the historic murano district, home to some of the most beautiful art pieces in all of Italy, also houses some of the best trekking spots in and around Bari.

To start your day off with, what would be an absolute must is to go on a walking tour of the Bari coastline. Experts claim that this is one of the most beautiful and picturesque terrains in all of italy. It starts in the heart of bari, where there is a wide sandy beach for locals to chill out on, and ends with a paved path that takes you all the way to the heart of the village of Polignano, considered as one of the most picturesque towns in all of Italy. While at Polignano, make sure to visit the Piazza dei Cavalli, or street of twenty sunflowers, which is considered to be the birthplace of the flower, the yellow Persian. You will also be able to take a boat ride on the famous River Arno, one of the oldest and longest in all of Italy.

If you are interested in having a more lasting day trip, you should definitely consider taking the train from the Bari Airport to the city of Florence. This is definitely a more thorough and longer way to get around Florence, but if you have time left, you should definitely include a visit to the famous San Lorenzo restaurant. Located on Piazza San Lorenzo, this restaurant offers some of the freshest seafood in all of Italy. The restaurant is open in the morning, during the lunch hours, and during the evening, as well, upon regular business hours.

For even more incredible day trips, you may wish to include a stop in the ancient town of Polignano. Known for its amazing artwork, Polignano is home to an abundance of art museums as well as a great number of galleries specializing in works from throughout the centuries. While in Polignano, be sure to go on a walking tour of the Piazza di Sasso, which was once the center of one of the most notorious inquisitions in all of Italy. If you are looking for more historical excitement, try a day trip to the Chiesa Familia, or family home of the Roman Catholic Church. This church is believed to contain one of the largest collections of paintings in all of Italy.

Polignano is an excellent place to choose to eat like a local while exploring all that Bari Italy has to offer. Most people that eat there have a strong affinity for seafood and the fresh local ingredients that are available. You will notice the locals serving you freshly caught fish every single meal. Of course, this does not mean that you cannot have your choice of meat and pasta at this fine dining establishment. Polignano is also home to a great number of tapas bars, so be sure to sample some of the other interesting food options in Italy as you explore the unique flavors of Bari Italy.
