If you’re planning a trip to the Ozark region of southwest Missouri, consider visiting Branson. The town is known for its live music, theaters, and antique stores, including the 76 Country Boulevard. While the theaters used to feature predominantly country music performers, they now offer more diverse entertainment. The town is also home to Marvel Cave, Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction, and Silver Dollar City, an 1800s-themed amusement park with live music.

During your stay in Branson, be sure to take in some great hiking and biking trails. The Springhouse Trail is one of the easiest to access, and the Stone Pancakes Trail leads to waterfalls. During the hot months, the waterfalls can be dry, but you can still enjoy the scenery. It’s also possible to try fishing on the Lakeshore. The city’s nature preserves are another great place to explore.

For those who like nature and outdoor activities, hiking is an excellent option. There are several varying trails, including the Chinquapin Trail, which is a mile-long trail. It connects to the main course and allows hikers to hike more than three miles. In addition, there are over 11 miles of hiking trails throughout the area, some of which are suitable for mountain biking. Whether you want to trek or bike, the scenic routes in Branson pass by streams, waterfalls, and bluffs, and can be even more scenic if you have a permit.

The Bluff Bend Trail is 3.4 miles long and offers stunning views of Lake Taneycomo. Its over 300 stone steps provide ample opportunities for a family with mobility issues to explore the area. Its 2.7-mile-long Roark Creek Trail is the perfect way to get away from the city and explore the natural beauty of the area.

For an outdoor activity, head to the city park and hike. The city has a number of hiking trails that can be difficult and easy. A trail is not the same as a road, so it should not be crowded. If you don’t mind walking a little, you can simply rent a bicycle and ride around the town.
