The seaside town of Cape May is situated in southern New Jersey. The seaside town has grand Victorian houses and a quaint downtown. You can visit the Emlen Physick estate, which is now a museum. On Washington Street, stroll along the 3 pedestrianized blocks. You can see both the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay from the Cape’s Lighthouse. If you like to watch the waves crash onto the beach, you should spend a day at Cape’s Boardwalk and enjoy the sun setting.

There are plenty of activities to do in Cape May for families. Children can play on the beach, and adults can stroll on the promenade, which runs parallel to Beach Avenue. It’s a scenic three-mile loop, and you’ll find 360 benches lining its path. You’ll be able to observe the many birds, surfers, and dolphins that swim off the shore. And you can check out the locals on bicycles and in your rental car.

The town’s famous trolley tour is an essential part of any family’s trip to Cape May. With a bright red trolley car, the tour is a sure-fire hit. In the 1950s, the SS ATLANTUS was painted with a boat insurance billboard.
