Here are some things to consider when buying a house in Provincetown. There are plenty of places to eat, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and explore the many activities and attractions available to you.

Long Point Lighthouse – Located at the end of a sand spit in Provincetown Harbor, this lighthouse has a unique history. Originally, the lighthouse guided fishing traffic into Provincetown Harbor. In addition to guiding fishing traffic into the harbor, Long Point Lighthouse served as a school with as many as 60 students. It also had an industry for sea salt. You can take a guided tour of the lighthouse.

Provincetown Art Association and Museum – Located on Commercial Street, this museum has a permanent collection of over 2,500 objects and presents over 40 exhibits each year. Founded in 1914, this museum is an important cultural institution in Provincetown. Initially, the museum focused on local artists, but its collection has grown in recent years. You can also participate in classes, lectures, and dance performances at the PAM. If you are a collector of art, you will not regret visiting Provincetown.

Atlantic House – Known as the A-House, the Atlantic House was built by Provincetown’s first postmaster Daniel Pease in 1798. It became a hangout for famous writers in the 1920s. And in the early 1950s, Provincetown became a gay-friendly town. And today, it is one of the most LGBTQ-friendly cities in the country. If you are interested in history, this town is for you!

Beech Forest Trail – A one-mile loop trail located in a picturesque beech forest, this trail is great for bird watching. It also skirts the shallow Beech Forest Pond. This trail is easy to complete, but the extension loop has steep log steps. You can access the province lands bicycle trail from the parking area. Please note that pets are not allowed on these trails. And be aware that they are not suited for everyone.

Victor’s – Located in a stately home, this historic establishment features cathedral ceilings and fireplace. It also features quality furniture and beautiful table settings. If you are looking for a romantic date idea in Provincetown, Victor’s is a good place to stay. This place is very popular with both locals and tourists. And there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in Provincetown. A good selection of restaurants, bistros, and cafes are available.

Provincetown Art School – Provincetown is home to the Provincetown Art School, an art school that attracts artists and writers from all over the world. In the 1920s, the Provincetown Art School drew in many creative people and attracted artists such as Hans Hofmann and writers like Eugene O’Neill. But this hasn’t stopped the city from reinventing itself as an LGBT destination. Today, there are many gay-friendly attractions in Provincetown, and the Provincetown Art Association and Museum are excellent choices for those looking for a place to enjoy a night out.
