Located along the coast of Georgia and South Carolina, the city of Savannah offers an ideal destination for a romantic getaway. The city is known for its horse-drawn carriages, manicured parks, and antebellum architecture. Its historic district is full of parks and cobblestone squares, and is home to the Gothic-Revival Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist. In addition to the historic district, the town also offers a variety of cultural activities.

For a family-friendly hike, visit the historic city of Preacher’s Rock. This trail begins relatively flat, but gradually climbs. This trail is 29 miles long and offers stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you’re a hiker, you may enjoy the scenery on the Red Mountain hike. A few trails are accessible year-round, and you should also bring a hat and a camera.
