The town of Gatlinburg is in the mountains of eastern Tennessee, and is the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Many of the attractions in Gatlinburg offer views of the Great Smoky Mountains. You can take the Space Needle, a 407-foot observation tower, or ride the Sky Lift, a 2.1-mile aerial cable car. A day trip to Gatlinburg is a must-do for those who want to experience the best of the town.

The town of Gatlinburg is a walkable city, and the mountain heritage is very visible. In addition, you can visit many galleries, museums, and shops. The local arts and crafts scene is a must-see, and the town prides itself on its quaintness. Its unique history is sure to intrigue you. It’s a fun way to spend a day! Once you’ve visited the Smokies, you’ll want to spend a night at one of the local restaurants.

The town is also home to the World of Illusions, a unique amusement park that combines educational experiences with entertainment. This amusement park features over 100 hands-on exhibits in six different wonder zones, and is a great way to learn about the history of the area. Another attraction in Gatlinburg is the Space Needle, a glass elevator to an observation deck. In addition to the Space Needle, you can take the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America, and the Anakeesta, an outdoor mountaintop adventure.

The Smoky Mountain Brewery is located in downtown Gatlinburg and is a great place to enjoy a beer while admiring the beautiful mountain views. There are several places to enjoy the local cuisine, including the local Smoky Mountain Brewery. You can try one of the many tasty super mugs that can hold 33.8 ounces of beer – equivalent to about half a six pack!

There are also plenty of trails to explore in the area. The Hen Wallow waterfall is 90 feet high and can be reached by foot via a short trail. The Baskin Creek trail is quieter and offers a great view of the falls. Whether you choose a horseback ride, the view will be breathtaking. If you are adventurous, you can try a horseback ride on the Smoky Mountain Riding Stables.

The town is home to some of the country’s best waterfalls. The Hen Wallow Falls is 90 feet high and has a beautiful fan-shaped base. You can even take a gondola ride up the mountain, which will take you right to the top of the falls. The waterfalls are breathtaking year-round, and there are so many activities to enjoy in this mountain town that you’re bound to find something to do.
