Fairbanks is a home rule city and the borough seat of Fairbanks North Star Borough. Located in the U.S. state of Alaska, it is known for its abundance of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and outdoor activities. The city is home to nearly 50,000 people. The population is diverse and includes diverse groups of people. It’s the largest city in Alaska, and is home to the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
