Florence, Italy is a destination like no other. Rich in history and culture, Florence attracts artists, writers, musicians, and artists from throughout the world. Not only is this city romantic and steeped in history, but is also known for its cuisine. Florentine cuisine spans many cuisines. From traditional Italian dishes to salads and even vegan meals, there is something for everyone in this elegant city.

Florence is one of Italy’s most famous cities, second only to Rome. Florence is home to some of the finest art and architecture in the entire world. Florentine cuisine spans many cuisines, ranging from vegetarian dishes to meat dishes. Put all that together, and maybe you will see why it’s such a popular place that ought to be on every sort or bucket list.

Florence has been the center of human culture for over two thousand years. You can take a leisurely stroll through the historical city center taking in all the beautiful works of art. The Renaissance Florence museum is a great place to start, filled with paintings of famous Florentine artists. You will also want to visit the Sistine Chapel, where the Madonna and Child once sat. The Sistine Chapel is also filled with amazing art including frescoes on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, two centuries old, and Madonna’s torre, which was destroyed during the Renaissance but is now restored to near perfection.

Along with being home to some incredible art and architecture, Florence is also famous for its food. Florence is known as a culinary capital of the Italian Renaissance and has many famous restaurants. Many tourists visit Florence just for the exquisite food and the cultural experience. Famous Italian chefs such as Marco Pecorari are responsible for many of these restaurants, as well as the artful presentations.

Florence also hosts a variety of wine tours throughout the year. A large portion of Florence’s rich history is due to its vast network of canals. These canals are full of hidden canals, narrow streets, ancient villages, and vineyards. Local wine producers have adapted to the climate of Italy’s capital, so no matter what you prefer, there is a local wine that is right for you in florence.

Florence is a great place to go if you love art and culture. Many tourists love to explore the rich architecture, gorgeous locales, beautiful people, and delicious food of this city. No matter your interest; whether you like art, history, or wine; there is a tour that is perfect for you. Take a trip to Tuscany and experience a new way of living, eating, and visiting.
