On the eastern shore, Stewart Beach and East Beach are a great place to catch a ray.

The Strand Historic District is a quaint neighborhood that is like Galveston’s version of Key West’s Duval Street. Lined with historic iron buildings, this district is a must-see for history buffs, foodies, and art lovers alike. It also has bars, music venues, outdoor cafés, and fine dining restaurants. While in Galveston, tourists can explore the city’s historical buildings and explore the area’s rich natural environment.
