Warren Monfort fed surplus crops to cattle in Greeley all year long, leading to a multi-billion dollar corporation. In fact, he made his US headquarters there. Currently, the company employs more than 14,000 people, and produces about $11 million worth of beef each year.

Whether you want to enjoy live music, local bands, or brews, Greeley’s vibrant downtown is the place for you. Temperatures in Greeley can vary. The daytime averages in the mid-to-high 80s F while the low 30s C is common during the winter months. However, nighttime lows are typically around 15 degF in summer and near twenty-five degrees in winter. The city experiences very little precipitation, and temperatures rarely dip below zero. The last freeze occurs as early as May 4, although the first day may be hotter than the rest of the year.
