15 Reasons to Travel to Montpellier

October 22, 2021 | More: Montpellier| Why Travel to

Montpellier lies in the heart of France. The beautiful town is nestled in the mountains of the Alps and is only about an hour from Paris by coach. It’s less than one hour from the centre of Marseille on the beautiful French Riviera. Tourists love that Montpellier isn’t so close to the beach, so they can really relax on a warm summer’s day. In summer, this is also a really quiet and relaxing place to travel and see the beautiful scenery and enjoy the lovely scenery.

There are many beautiful buildings and architectural wonders in the town of Montpellier, which is why it is a great place to take a holiday. One of the most stunning buildings in Montpellier is the Cathedrals of Bouquet-sur-Mer. These magnificent old cathedrals are thought to date back to the 11th century, and there are several great stories surrounding the cathedrals, which are worth reading. Visiting this lovely church is a must-do while you’re in Montpellier.

As well as the cathedrals, the other major attractions in Montpellier include the Pays de la Loire river, the Château de Versailles, and the Basilica de Montpellier. All of these great attractions make this small town a very photogenic place to take photographs. When taking photos of the architecture in this area, it’s best to get as accurate a shot as you can. This is why you should use a remote controlled camera or camcorder to make sure you don’t miss anything important. The architecture in the area is truly amazing and if you like old European architecture, this is definitely a place you should try to visit. The lightness of the town makes it a nice place to walk around and enjoy the scenery, and the river is a great way to get some exercise during your vacation.

If you are looking for a more upbeat vacation than the cathedrals and the river, then you might want to consider visiting one of the most famous squares in the world, Versailles Square. This square is one of the most photogenic places in all of Europe, and the architecture in the square is very impressive. There are dozens of fascinating shops and boutiques for tourists to visit, and the square is also popular for hosting many trendy nightspots. If you’re up for a real taste of old-world European nightlife, this is definitely a place you should not miss.

If you like the idea of seeing the architecture but would rather stay closer to the center of town, then you will love the small number of old town squares in Montpellier. The first thing that you will notice when you enter this part of Montpellier is the very French appeal to the place. Charming little boutiques dotting the small streets of these squares are a perfect place to shop for souvenirs and some fine meals. In addition, the cobblestone streets are lined with many small boutiques and craft shops, offering a wide variety of local crafts to browse and buy. For the truly interested in vintage French architecture, the cobblestone streets of the old town of Montpellier are a must-see stop.

While this may be a small sampling of the many attractions and locations in Montpellier, it is enough to give you a general idea of what this wonderful town has to offer tourists. For the best selection in hotels and other accommodations, I highly recommend the prestigious Four Seasons Montpellier. The hotel is centrally located and close to many of the attractions in Montpellier, making it easy to make day trips to various other places while staying at the hotel. With the high quality service, low rates, and variety of Montpellier hotels, Four Seasons is one of the most popular luxury hotels in France. Additionally, there are plenty of good bed and breakfast inns in the area, and some of them offer wonderful accommodations and facilities for a fraction of the hotel price. Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, there are plenty of good Montpellier hotels to choose from, making this town a popular tourist destination.
