The Murrells Inlet is an unincorporated community in Georgetown County, South Carolina. As of the 2010 census, the population was 7,547. It is located 13 miles south of Myrtle Beach and 21 miles north of Georgetown. The town is a popular vacation destination for residents and tourists alike.
