The Gulf Islands National Seashore is located along the coast between Florida and Mississippi and offers undeveloped white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. You can also visit Fort Barrancas, a massive pre-Civil War brick fortress that was once home to Union troops and the Apache leader Geronimo.
If you are looking for something a little more casual, head to the Pensacola Indoor Playground. With plenty of foam pits and inflatables, this attraction is great for toddlers to 12-year-olds. It’s housed in a vintage firehouse, which makes it especially unique.
