The city was founded in 1713 and incorporated in 1723, making it one of the state’s oldest communities. If you’re considering a trip to North Carolina, here are some things to consider. Once you’ve found the perfect destination, you’ll want to explore all the town has to offer.

There are several places to eat and stay in Beaufort. Downtown, you’ll find a variety of restaurants, including many that have been around for generations. You can enjoy fresh seafood and seasonal fish at a variety of restaurants. You’ll also find plenty of outdoor seating at many of the city’s outdoor eateries.
