For the first time in many years, a coastal town has a new name. Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island are both in the state of Delaware. Both have been a popular vacation spot for more than 40 years, and the towns are located on barrier spits. According to the 2010 census, both towns have a population of 379, up 10.8% over the last decade. Residents of both places love the sand, the ocean, and the local cuisine.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax, Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island are perfect. Visitors can enjoy the pristine waters and sand of both beaches throughout the year. If you’re traveling with a family, you can opt for Fenwick Island State Park, which is south of Bethany Beach. While both of these places are located just a short distance from each other, you can get a more secluded atmosphere in the latter. There are also kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and wild crab chases at both locations.

In order to plan your stay, start saving for your trip. Create a budget for your trip, and include all expenses, including transportation, food, and activities. Try to stay within your budget. Make sure to check the weather forecast and decide on when you’ll arrive. Remember, if it’s overcast, the beach is closed, so pack sunscreen and a hat! These two small towns offer plenty to do for a great spring break.
