Ellensburg is a small city located in Kittitas County, Washington. Located near the junction of Interstate 90 and Interstate 82, Ellensburg is a popular destination for travelers. The city is home to a number of companies and government offices. It has an excellent school system and a thriving downtown. You can find everything you need in this community, including a hospital and grocery store. Here are some tips for visiting Ellensburg.

The first thing to do when you visit Ellensburg is visit its local museum. It’s free and supports the town’s art and history museum through rents from second-floor apartments. The exhibits include a historical auto exhibit, doll collections, and Native American weaving. Walking tours and public art events are a great way to explore the city. You can even enjoy live music and wine at local restaurants, breweries, or wineries.

The city has a rich Western tradition. The town has a major rodeo and dude ranches are a popular attraction. The area is also known for its hay fields, which are irrigated by the Yakima Reclamation Project. In the nearby Ginkgo Petrified Forest, visitors can find many different species of agatized wood. Located 28 miles east of the city, the park is one of the world’s largest petrified forests.
