15 Reasons Why you should Stay in Loveland Colorado

May 13, 2022 | More: Why Travel to

Located between Denver and Fort Collins, Loveland, Colorado, is a great getaway for those who want to slow down a bit. The town has a picturesque downtown with older-style buildings, and during the warm seasons, it hosts weekly art events. With a scenic mountain backdrop, there is something for everyone in Loveland. Be aware that some attractions are temporarily closed, and others require advance reservations. However, the following tips will help you find the best things to do in Loveland.

Hike and bike the mountains: There are many hiking and biking trails in the area, including the popular Devil’s Backbone. You can also go snowcat skiing, or try a terrain park. The powder is often plentiful here, and the town is also close to skiing and snowboarding resorts. Located along I-70, the town has a friendly, cozy feel. During your stay in Loveland, you should take advantage of the free ski school, as well as the free snowcats.

In addition to outdoor activities, Loveland also has great public schools, a calendar of family-friendly events, and a relatively low unemployment rate. SmartAsset has recognized Loveland as one of the best places to raise a family in Colorado, citing a low crime rate and a high percentage of families earning over $100,000. Additionally, there is a large arts scene in Loveland, and local artists will be happy to hear that their work will be featured in a special Valentine’s Day stamp.

Whether you are looking for a comfortable place to stay while visiting Loveland, you can’t go wrong with a stay at one of the many Loveland hotels. The city is home to several national and international sculptors. And if you are looking for a place to host a special event, Loveland has what you’re looking for. A large selection of accommodations is available in this beautiful city.

The city’s demographics reflect its diverse cultural makeup. Nearly ninety percent of its population is white, while thirty-one percent of its residents are Hispanic. There are also a lot of young people living here – with a median age of twenty-three. A large percentage of households is owner-occupied, but a smaller proportion are rent-apartments. Loveland’s median household income is $68,592. Approximately 63.6% of Loveland residents live below the federal poverty line, with a child poverty rate of 11.1%. Another notable fact is that a majority of Loveland residents are in the labor force.

The town is also home to some wonderful art galleries. The Loveland Museum and Gallery is an accredited museum by the American Alliance of Museums. Less than five percent of museums in the country have this status. The museum hosts many events throughout the year, including readings of local poetry, and special exhibitions that celebrate the area’s history. You should allow at least two hours to explore the gallery’s many exhibits. However, hours vary depending on the season.

The city is home to the Budweiser Events Center, a 7200-seat arena that is also the home of the American Hockey League’s Colorado Eagles. The center also serves many other purposes, including rodeos and concerts. For shoppers, there are several shopping centers, including two Wal-Mart Superstores and Kmart. There are also several Walgreens stores, Pier 1 Imports, Pet Smart, and the UPS Stores in Loveland.
