Milan is one of the top destinations for Europeans traveling from the UK to Australia for holidays. It is an exciting and lively city with plenty to see and do. There are plenty of things to keep in mind if you plan to spend your vacation here.
There are plenty of options when it comes to booking accommodation in Milan. Milan offers a wide variety of accommodations from luxury hotels to budget hotels. For a fairly affordable stay, in a range of basic but comfortable rooms such as at the Corso Venezia Giulia or a luxury five star hotel such as in San Marco, expect to be paying around 200 Euros a night. For those traveling from the UK to Australia who prefer the elegance of a luxury hotel, there are numerous posh hotels that offer fantastic deals to their customers.
Milan has many beautiful neighborhoods. The most popular are Sirmione and Milanese. Milan is an historic city with lots of historical sites. You can visit the Roman town of Sirmione, the city center, the city’s airport, and the Vatican City. If you are looking for the best areas to stay in Milan, then these are some of the neighborhoods to consider:
First, we would suggest you to stay near the center of Milan – Sirmione. This is the more metropolitan part of Milan and is a good place to go if you are going to get out of the city’s tourist zone. Sirmione is also home to some of the most posh and chic neighbourhoods such as Centro Storico, Apuntadore, and Sirmione. It is home to some of the best museums in Milan and is one of the main centers for tourist activity in Milan.
Second, we would recommend you to stay near the porta garibelli area of Milan. This is the more central part of Milan and is considered to be the heart of Milan. If you want to get to the more cultural and historical parts of the city, such as the Sirmione and Porta garibelli areas, you will have to travel a long way. However, if you prefer to live close to all the action, you can choose to stay in one of the many outlying suburbs of Milan such as Genoa Vicenza, Monterosa, Sommollia, Viale d’Adda, Corte Cana, or Viale d’ Orcano among many others.
Last but not least, we would like to recommend you to start planning your trip to Italy by making sure that you make your reservations as early as possible. With so many hotels and other accommodations already available, it will be difficult to make your reservations in time. We highly recommend that you do your planning ahead, so that you will know where you can and cannot stay, when you are picking a place to stay in Milan. Also, with a little advance notice, you will be able to get a better price on your room and other accommodation expenses.
