15 Reasons Why you should Stay in Naples

October 25, 2021 | More: Naples| Why Travel to

Naples and the surrounding Campania area, are full of rich historical history and tourist attractions dating back thousands of years. With so many different places to visit, locating the perfect place to stay in Naples is a real challenge. The city is divided into several historic districts, each with its own unique history. Naples has much to offer both visitors to the city and those who want to explore its natural wonders.

Naples is a great place to visit in spring or fall, when the weather is beautiful and ripe for outdoor activities. A walk along the waterfront during the spring season will give you a unique look at the true culture of Italy. Walking down San Giovanni in the old town of Naples is also a great way to experience Naples and get an up close look at some of the most beautiful buildings in the city. During fall, you can visit the city during one of its great festivals, the Na’vi celebration. There’s also plenty to do in Naples during off-season – enjoy the beaches, shop in the downtown markets, go horseback riding, or even just take a day trip to the beautiful island of Ragusa to experience its serenity.

If you plan to visit Naples during any part of the year, you’re going to have a hard time not finding what you’re looking for. Naples is home to a wide variety of great museums, art galleries and architecture – from the impressive ancient catacombs of Citta Vecchia, to the modern, restored medieval city of San Lorenzo. There’s also the opportunity to take in the stunning countryside of Illyria on a well-planned self-drive through the Dolomites. As you may be aware, Naples was a top destination for Renaissance artists and architects, so you’ll find plenty of beautiful architectural buildings to explore while exploring Naples. Whether your stay is planned around one particular art style or a more eclectic mix of styles, you’re bound to have an amazing time exploring the many sites in and around Naples.

If you like the beach, you won’t have a difficult time finding accommodation in Naples. Most hotels are right on the beach – and many of them have beautiful terraces that overlook the sea. The beach is the perfect place to relax by the sea, especially if you stay on one of the reasonably priced, tiled floors in Naples’s trendy downtown areas. Don’t worry about water sports: most of Naples’s hotels have sandy beaches, and plenty of refreshing bars and restaurants to help you recover from a day of shopping, eating and sunbathing.

For those looking for a little more to do than the beach and the hotel on the shore, East Naples offers plenty of interesting places to explore. While it is home to many historical ruins dating back to the Roman era, there are also plenty of nature reserves and museums to be found in this part of town. Nature lovers will enjoy nature walks, biking routes through the hills of Naples and sightseeing at local art galleries and botanical gardens. It’s also possible to arrange a self-guided tour of the city, visiting key places without having to worry about booking a tour; the Naples Sightseeing Tours provides this option, and has offices in key areas where you can get good rates on your tours. You’ll find cheap flights to Naples where to stay on a budget when you check into any of these cheap holiday packages.

Naples isn’t all about history and architecture, however. If you love walking and seeing the city, you should consider booking some of the many guided tours that Naples has to offer. One of the most popular tours is Naples’ famous’spagna’, which runs along the length of the city from Piazza del Popolo to the River Naples. This scenic route covers some of the most picturesque scenery in Italy, so if you love hiking and the outdoors this is the ideal way to see Naples on a budget.
