February 9, 2022 | More: Boise| Tourist Attractions

If you want to spend a day exploring the capital city of Idaho, consider spending a few days in Boise. The downtown area is full of parks and trails hugging the water. Nearby, the Boise River Greenbelt is a series of parks and trails that follow the river. You can visit the Boise Art Museum, housed in an art deco building, for a chance to see contemporary art and outdoor sculpture. You can also tour the state capitol building. In addition, you can check out the Old Idaho Penitentiary, where you can view historic military weaponry and prison cells from the 19th century.

If you like art, you can explore the local artists by visiting Freak Alley, the largest outdoor gallery in the Northwest, featuring local artwork. Another popular attraction is the Idaho State Penitentiary, which has free tours. You can visit the Cyrus Jacobs/Uberuaga House, the Fronton Building, and the Basque Museum and Cultural Center, the only one of its kind in the U.S. The tours take about an hour, and you can ask questions during the tour.

The capital city public market is a must-visit in the city. This open-air market features over 150 vendors in four blocks of downtown Boise. A visit to this street market is a must-do while in town. It is also one of the best places to enjoy local food. For more adventurous eaters, there’s a pizza place in the downtown. While you’re there, check out the many markets to find unique items.

If you’re looking for something for the whole family, there are plenty of attractions in the city. Whether you’re a nature lover or a bird watcher, you’ll find the perfect activity. There are plenty of fun things to do for the entire family, and there is a wide range of affordable accommodations in the area. You can also visit local museums, galleries, and parks. If you’re looking for a more affordable place to call home, Boise is the perfect place for you.

For culture, the city is home to the official state museum. It dates back to 1881 and has more than 110,000 visitors each year. There are a variety of museums in Boise, but the Boise Art Museum is the most popular. If you’re looking for something for the whole family, check out the Idaho State museum. You’ll find some things that you’ll love in the city. If you’re looking for a place to relax and recharge, you’ll want to check out the local attractions in the area.

The Boise Art Museum features twelve to sixteen rotating exhibitions. You can take an hour or two to tour the museum, or go to the nearby Burgdorf Hot Springs. For a more intimate experience, you can visit the Old Idaho Penitentiary. The state’s history is important for its current population, and the prison has an interesting history. There are also activities for kids and tours of the Penitentiary.
