Cedar Falls is home to the University of Northern Iowa. It is a public university, and the city is also home to a large military base. According to the 2020 census, the population of Cedar Falls was 40,713. The city is a growing metropolis, with the population expected to increase to more than 50,000 by 2025. The university is located in the center of town. Visitors to Cedar Fall can enjoy the city’s unique architecture, as well as its many museums and other attractions.

The Hearst Center for the Arts houses two galleries and several unique shops. Main Street also hosts lunch concerts and has more than 30 shops. You can enjoy a variety of food, drinks, and entertainment on Main Street. The town also offers a number of art exhibits and galleries and is home to over two million visitors since 1989. Whether you’re looking for a souvenir, or a unique gift for a friend, there’s sure to be something for you in Cedar Falls.

While visiting Cedar Falls, you can also learn more about the area’s history. The Ice House Museum contains artifacts from the ice harvesting industry, as well as a collection of archives. Built in 1921, this museum was the home of the Cedar Falls Ice and Fuel Company. You can see the tools used for carving ice from the Cedar River. There is a variety of music, dance, and theater venues in Cedar Springs, and the city also hosts a number of art exhibits throughout the year. For a more relaxing evening, try out the Lost Island Water Park, a fun water park that’s open seven days a week. Alternatively, you can spend the day sightseeing around the town.
