Eastham Massachusetts is a town in Barnstable County, adjacent to Cape Cod. According to the 2020 Census, the population of the town is approximately 5,752. Residents are a diverse and friendly bunch and love to spend time with their families. While Eastham is a smaller town, it has many attractions. If you are thinking about moving to the area, here are some great things to consider. Here are some fun facts about this town.

In Eastham, you can experience open town meeting government. It is led by a board of selectmen and a town administrator. Visit the town hall, police department, and library located on Route 6, across from Windmill Park. You can also visit the nearby First Encounter Beach and take advantage of the public library. The town has two post offices, one in North and one in South Eastham. The North Eastham post office is located just south of Windmill Park.

In Eastham, Massachusetts, residents are generous and welcoming. The town has several restaurants and specialty shops, and visitors can rent bikes and explore the area. The community’s many historical and natural treasures can be explored on foot or by bike. Whether you want to soak up the culture, history, or natural wonders, you’ll find everything you need in Eastham. Just don’t forget to pack your swimsuit. While visiting the city, don’t forget to visit the Captain Penniman House.

The Town of Eastham has an open town meeting government system, led by a board of selectmen and town administrator. You can find the town hall and police department on Route 6, right across from Windmill Park. The public library is located on Samoset Road, a road leading to First Encounter Beach. Both post offices are located on Route 6 and are accessible from either direction. In addition to the town hall, you can also find two post offices in the surrounding towns. The North Eastham post office is in Brewster.

Besides the town’s beautiful scenery, you can also visit historic sites in the area. The Eastham Center Historic District is a great place to see the town hall and the Eastham Windmill, which is the oldest windmill on the Cape. The Town’s Nauset Light is another registered historical site. During the summer, you can go shellfishing along the beaches of the National Seashore. The museum is located on the waterfront.

The town is only 2 miles away from the town of Cottage Grove. Its six miles of sandy beaches are ideal for families. The Cape Cod Bay, a protected area of the National Seashore, is equally as magical. There are many beautiful beaches in Eastham, and Cape Cod Bay is one of them. In fact, it is the most popular spot for tourists. You can find a family reunion in this small town. The area is perfect for families.
