If you’re looking for a place to spend your Valentine’s Day, Loveland Colorado may be the perfect choice. This picture-perfect city is ideal for families and offers a wide range of activities, from museums to shopping, and boasts a diverse selection of breweries and distilleries. A city that’s full of sweets has earned the sweet distinction of being the home of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, which remails the Valentine’s Day card each year to locals and visitors alike.

The city’s renowned trail system is ideal for those looking to enjoy the beautiful views that Loveland has to offer. One of the best trails is the Devil’s Backbone, which covers 2,198 acres and boasts more than 12 miles of connected trails. If you prefer a less challenging trail, try the Besant Point Trail or the Shoshone Trail, which are located near the city’s lakefront. Both trails are open for public use and don’t require a park entrance fee.

The city’s museum is a must-visit attraction. The Loveland Museum and Gallery opened in 1937 and was founded by a local author and mountain guide who was devoted to the area. The museum’s permanent collection contains artifacts and exhibits from the region’s history, and it offers special children’s and adult programs, as well as poetry readings. In addition to the museum’s permanent exhibits, it also hosts temporary exhibitions featuring work from local and national artists.

The Rialto theatre, which opened in 1919, is an excellent example of a historic attraction. This theatre started as a silent cinema but has since evolved into a full-blown performing arts venue. With a seating capacity of 446, it boasts a state-of-the-art set-up. Almost 100 volunteers help maintain this historic building and hold events throughout the year. In addition to its many parks, Loveland Colorado also has an extensive trail network.

Despite the town’s proximity to Denver, the city offers a relaxed pace of life. The picturesque downtown is filled with older-style buildings. A large variety of art events takes place weekly during the warm seasons, and its proximity to nature provides easy access to the natural environment. While it’s worth your time to explore Loveland, Colorado, you should be prepared that some attractions may be closed temporarily or require advance reservations. If you’re looking for a unique Colorado event, don’t miss Frozen Dead Guy Days. What started as a wild idea in 1989, it has now become a popular event in the city.
