December 3, 2021 | More: Michigan| Tourist Attractions

Marquette Michigan is a city in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It has a population of 20,629 and serves as the county seat. This beautiful destination is known for its many recreational opportunities, great food, and friendly people. Here are some fun facts about the city. When visiting, don’t forget to check out the nearby lake and take a drive through the scenic scenery. You’ll be glad you did! In addition, the town is a popular vacation spot for residents and visitors alike.

The city is a bicycle-friendly city, so be sure to bring your bike. Although downtown is small and pedestrian-friendly, there are several extensive bike trails and parks in the area. You can also enjoy the lakefront by hiking up the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain. You’ll be rewarded with stunning views of Lake Superior, and you’ll find a number of interesting souvenirs at the Da Yoopers Tourist Trap, which has the world’s largest working chainsaw.

While there are no big department stores or chain stores in Marquette, the city still has plenty of unique shopping opportunities. The old-fashioned pedestrian-friendly downtown is lined with outdoor and import stores, and is the best place to spot the northern lights. If you’re looking for something a bit more upscale, try shopping in one of the many local boutiques and galleries. While the quaint shops downtown may be a better option, you’ll find many places to shop that specialize in a particular type of product.

A fun museum to visit with kids is the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, which explores the area’s maritime history. It’s free to visit, and includes a touch tank where visitors can get up close and personal with lizards and reptiles. For more unique gifts, you can also visit the Lakenenland Sculpture Park. It is an incredible attraction and you can find many unique souvenirs there.

If you like to watch the sunset, this park is the perfect place for you. Its beautiful fall colors make it a great place to go camping. You can also take a stroll around the island, which has over 300 acres. If you’re looking for a good view of the lighthouse and the sunset, you’ll be happy to know that it’s only a few blocks away from the city center. If you prefer to stay indoors, you’ll be happy to know that there are several other attractions in the city.

The downtown area is a great place to see the city’s history. Despite its remote location, the city’s historic buildings make it a wonderful place to visit. You can visit the historic courthouse, the Oasis Gallery, and the Marquette Harbor. You can also shop at the downtown market. While visiting the city, make sure you leave time to explore the area. A beautiful day in Marquette is a great day to spend with family and friends.
