Situated on the Mississippi River near the Gulf of Mexico, the Louisiana city of New Orleans is a lively and exciting destination for tourists. The Big Easy is famous for its spicy cuisine and round-the-clock nightlife. With a unique blend of cultures, the city is a perfect melting pot of traditions. Visitors to New Orleans must not miss the late-winter Mardi Gras, a colourful festival featuring costumed parades and street parties.

The Crescent City Connection carries Interstate 10 and U.S. 90 across the Mississippi River, linking downtown with the suburbs. Huey P. Long Bridge and Hale Boggs Memorial Bridge carry Interstate 310 and U.S. 90, respectively. In eastern New Orleans, the Twin Span Bridge carries Interstate 10 over Lake Pontchartrain. And finally, Interstate 510 crosses the Intracoastal Waterway and Gulf Outlet Canal.

The Museum of Art is an eight-acre space, consisting of five structures and nine gardens. The museum is renowned for its annual exhibition of a local artist, Ephemeral Eternal, which is the largest solo art exhibit in the U.S. The building is filled with 18th-century Creole architecture and was once home to the first American mayor after the Louisiana Purchase. It is an excellent choice for culture lovers.
