If you’re planning to visit Port Townsend, Washington, you should definitely check out the Art Deco Museum. This museum displays over 400 antique light fixtures, many of which have inscriptions stating their manufacture, date, and location. Aside from showcasing the history of lighting in the city, this museum also features rotating exhibits of antique airplanes. While you’re in town, check out the other attractions in Port Townsend, too.

The Aldrich’s Market is one of the many attractions that can make your stay in this seafaring town an unforgettable experience. The market is open every day from 7am to 11pm, and offers fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as premade paninis and endless snacks. Visitors can even enjoy a scenic view of the Pacific Ocean from the gazebo on the waterfront. For a more relaxing day, the Aldrich’s Market is just a short drive from downtown Port Townsend.

While you’re in the area, stop by the Port Townsend Marine Science Center. This museum hosts free lunchtime concerts every Friday. Visitors can also check out the Centrum, a community center for creative thinkers from around the world and interested audiences looking for cultural enrichment. There are several hotels in downtown Port Townsend, and you can also stay at one of the many Victorian houses. The mansions are private residences, but you can stroll the streets to get a glimpse of them. The Old Consulate Inn, for instance, is a popular B&B.

There are several parks to explore while you’re in town. Chetzemoka Park, named after the local S’Klallam tribe, is located on Admiralty Inlet. It features a beach, gazebo, bandstand, and picnic areas. This park also has a playground. The area is a popular wedding location. Various festivals and events are held here every year, including Shakespeare in the Park.

You can walk to many locations in Port Townsend. You can walk the [email protected] trail that runs through the city’s waterfront. You can also walk from North Beach County Park to McGurdy Point and search for sea glass. If you don’t have a car, you can take the Light Rail to Pioneer Square Station and walk to the ferry terminal. You’ll be amazed at the views of the water and the islands!

The Port Townsend Farmers’ Market is a great place to buy fresh, local produce. Every Saturday, you can find local vendors selling fruits, vegetables, seafood, and other food. You can also shop for arts and crafts, and enjoy live music at the Port Townsend Farmers’ Market. If you’re interested in history, you should check out the Jefferson Museum of Art & History. Besides the farmers’ market, Port Townsend has many other attractions.
