There are many museums and attractions in the city, and if you love art and history, you can explore the museums to get a taste of the city’s culture. The public market is a fun way to spend a morning in Rochester, while food stalls and cafes provide a relaxing and tasty start to the day. While you’re there, make sure to visit Dukes Donuts, where you can indulge in traditional doughnuts like the apple cider cinnamon donut. Or try out the chair latte at The Chai Guy.

It is also a great place to learn about Rochester’s beer history.

Mount Hope Cemetery – While visiting the city, you can see where Frederick Douglas and Susan B. Anthony were buried. You can also visit the Rochester Museum of Science to learn more about the city’s history. This museum also includes a planetarium. Just north of the city, you can visit the Seabreeze Amusement Park, which opened in 1889. It is the fourth-oldest amusement park in the nation. Visitors can enjoy both old-fashioned and modern rides here. The park even features the world’s oldest continuously-operating roller coaster.

Mercantile on Main – Located inside the former Sibley’s Department Store, Mercantile on Main is one of Rochester’s food halls. The market has something for everyone. You can find everything from fresh food to craft beverages. And if you’re looking for a bargain, you can even find fresh produce that’s not overly expensive. Whether you’re looking for a traditional, ethnic, or modern dish, there are plenty of places to satisfy your cravings in downtown Rochester.
