The Cannonball House also features a bronze 1864-era cannon forged at the local Macon Arsenal. Visitors can also buy souvenirs and local food from the gift shop.

Despite its small size, Warner Robins is a commercial center in a thriving agricultural region. It was once tied to southern cotton culture and suffered genteel poverty for its first 100 years, but its fortunes soon improved after World War II. Today, Robins Air Force Base is the largest industrial complex in Georgia, and it has a strong mayor form of government and fifteen members of the legislative council.
