The Wrong Store was originally a church and still serves as a museum and art gallery.

For unique gifts and souvenirs, head to Freda, Ranch Candy, and the Hotel St. George. You can also visit the Food Shark for delicious Mediterranean cuisine. If you’re looking to dine on the town’s cuisine, try Food Shark, which has seating in an old bus. It’s a great place to catch up with old friends.

Whether you’re interested in minimalist or contemporary art, you’ll find something to love in Marfa. Its many galleries showcase local, national, and international talent. Don’t forget to try the iconic Jett’s Grill, named after the James Dean character. This restaurant was designed by Donald Judd, who also designed the buildings. If you’re staying in Marfa, don’t forget to pick up some groceries from The Get Go Grocery. The Get Go Grocery offers sandwiches, cookies, toiletries, and Big Bend Coffee Roasters coffee. Moreover, you can take your groceries to The Get Go, which is open seven days a week from 9 am to 8 pm. There are plenty of restaurants in Marfa, so you can find the best one to suit your needs.

If you’re an avid movie fan, you might want to check out the Marfa Marriott. The hotel was the headquarters of the famous 1955 Hollywood movie, Giant. With its beautiful lobby and outdoor courtyard with a waterfall, the hotel is reminiscent of a western movie set. The town also features a museum dedicated to the movie. The film was based on a book by Edna Ferber and was nominated for 10 Academy Awards.

The town’s main street is dominated by an oversize county courthouse, a water tower, and a U.S. Post Office. The town has a quirky, eclectic feel. Walking through the town at night is one of the best ways to experience it. Just be sure to bring a camera with you to capture some of the quaint, wacky spots. You’ll never forget the experience. It’s definitely worth the trip to Marfa.
