The 35 miles of sandy beaches in St Pete and Clearwater are some of America’s best. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or an action-packed family vacation, these two beautiful beach towns have something to offer everyone. From volleyball games to frisbee games, you’ll find your perfect beach day here. And, you can enjoy a night on the town’s numerous bars and restaurants.

From the airport, you’ll be able to easily reach Downtown Tampa and the pristine beaches of St Pete and Clearwater. The two are less than an hour away from each other. If you’d like a bit of culture, you can head to Original Carrollwood and enjoy the community’s many festivals and events. There are many great restaurants and shopping options in the area, and the community also has a great community center.

For lunch, head to Crabby Bill’s on the beach. This casual restaurant is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Located at 37 Causeway Blvd. in Clearwater Beach, FL, Crabby Bill’s serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It offers outdoor seating, a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico, and its famous Happy Hour. You can enjoy delicious seafood at any of these restaurants, and a sunset dinner is just as fun.

At the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, you can see rescued dolphins and whales. You can even try out a Sting Ray Touch experience if you’re feeling adventurous! You can also visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium for a chance to see the rescued dolphin Winter. Winter, the dolphin movie star, died in November 2021. Pier 60 is also a fun destination for families. There are bungee rides and giant inflatable slides to enjoy at Pier 60. Pier 60 is also the place to go at night, as it hosts live entertainment every night.

At the Gulf Islands Tourist Area, you can enjoy a half-mile boardwalk. The boardwalk is open every day from 8 a.m. to sundown, 365 days a year. It’s open for surfing and paddleboard rentals. If you love sunsets, you can also watch the spectacular sunset from the Hurricane rooftop bar. If you’re in town during the summer, you should plan to stay until the evening to watch the sunset from the beach.
