You may be looking for information on how to get to Worcester Massachusetts. There are a number of ways to get around Worcester. First, it has a single train station, located at 2 Union Station, right next to the city’s bus terminal. The city has many public transit options, including buses and trolleys, and you can walk from the station to areas such as the Blackstone Canal District and Shrewsbury St. There are also plenty of used bicycle shops and rental companies.

In 1848, Worcester’s first charter created a Mayor-Bicameral government. The two chambers were vested with complete legislative powers. While the mayor handled all administrative departments, appointments had to be approved by the two-chamber City Council. In 1949, the city transitioned to a plan E municipal government, which established a Council/City Manager structure. The Plan E system has continued to this day in some modified form.

Another cultural institution worth visiting in Worcester is the EcoTarium, a museum with three floors of interactive exhibits. You can view mosaics from the ancient city of Antioch on the floor. The museum also features a planetarium, operated in partnership with the National Geographic. Tickets to star shows cost $5 in addition to the museum admission. You can visit any of these locations if you are in town for the holidays. If you want to take a break from the art scene, the museum has many art-related events to keep you busy.

There are several parks and open spaces in the city. The largest ones are Green Hill Park and Elm Park. You can also find many outdoor concerts at Institute Park in the summer. It has a lower cost of living than most of Massachusetts. You can get a wireless connection and internet for both businesses and residents.
