The auto industry was the main source of employment in the area. The “Motor City” is also home to Motown Records, which is still based in the infamous Hitsville U.S.A. district.

Visitors are encouraged to spend time exploring Detroit’s vibrant downtown. A walkable downtown offers endless entertainment with award-winning restaurants and small businesses. Live music is playing from the buildings and the alley ways are a lively place to sit and enjoy the night. The people are proud and motivated, and the locals welcome you like family.
