If you’re planning a vacation to Front Royal Virginia, you’ve come to the right place. This small town is the county seat of Warren County and the only incorporated city in the county. According to the 2010 census, the population was 14,440. It is also home to the University of Richmond, a local university, and several colleges. Located in southwestern Virginia, Front Royal offers visitors an assortment of activities and attractions.

In addition to the Warren Rifles Confederate Museum, Front Royal is also home to the National Park Service. The museum houses authentic war items and documents and displays the personal effects of the leaders of the Confederacy. The museums showcase restored historic documents and the weapons used in the Battle of Front Royal. The locals and visitors alike can learn more about the Park’s history, as well as the area’s natural beauty. While visiting the town, make sure to take the time to tour the parks many attractions.

The Apple House serves breakfast in a charming Victorian manor house. The place has been serving guests since 1963 and is known for its pork BBQ and specialty doughnuts. Tourists can also shop for handmade crafts, hams, and jellies. Tourism director Tim Smith welcomes travelers to Front Royal, Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley to spend a weekend. If you’re looking for an outdoor activity, the city has a lot to offer.

The Town’s most popular attractions are the Skyline Caverns and the northern entrance to Shenandoah National Park. There are many historical landmarks in the town, including Fort Lee, and Front Royal’s “Canoe Capital.” For those who enjoy water sports, there are plenty of options available in the area. There are several museums in the area. The city is also home to numerous golf courses and lakes that offer excellent opportunities for golf and tennis.

The city is located 76 miles west of Washington, D.C. and is home to the North and South Forks of the Shenandoah River. The city is a hub of culture and history, and there are many things to do in the area. While you’re in the city, you should visit the Skyline Caverns and Cathedral Hall. Both attractions are well-known for the anthodites.
