June 10, 2022 | More: Places to Visit

There are several attractions in Princeton New Jersey, but none is quite as impressive as the Battle Monument, a giant limestone carving of George Washington that is more than 50 feet tall. It depicts Washington leading his troops during the Battle of Princeton, as well as the death of General Hugh Mercer. It is a beautiful monument that was inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, and stands proudly in the heart of the campus. Currently, however, the monument is closed to the public, but is scheduled to reopen sometime in the future.

The University is home to one of the most renowned art museums in the country, the Princeton University Art Museum. With more than ninety thousand works of art, this museum has something for everyone. Visitors can view art from all over the world, from ancient to contemporary. And if you’re into history, you can tour the University’s beautiful buildings and take in the stunning architecture. And if you want to get more creative, head to one of Princeton’s art galleries.

For the natural world, Princeton is home to Herrontown Woods, a beautiful nature sanctuary. The former home of Princeton University mathematician Oswald Veblen, this area was dedicated to the Mercer County Park System in 1957. The nature sanctuary provides a unique opportunity to get close to nature, as well as to see the wildlife that lives there. The tavern also contains a library with a collection of over a thousand books.

There are several theaters and performance venues in Princeton. The Princeton Triangle Club still uses the theater for performances. This club has grown to become a large performance venue, with 360 seats and a 1,100-seat theater. The theater is located in the same building as the Dinky Bar and Kitchen, a restaurant that serves locally sourced food and local craft beer. There are a number of other attractions in Princeton, including a famous golf course, and a popular nightlife scene.

The town is also home to some fun family attractions, such as BonkerZ Family Fun Center. This is a great place to bring the kids for a day out. It’s a great family activity in Princeton, New Jersey! For some, a trip to Princeton doesn’t have to be a vacation.

For history buffs, Nassau Hall is an essential stop. This 1756 building was built adjacent to the Princeton battlefield. It once served as the nation’s capitol, but was later destroyed in two fires. Whether you’re studying American history or just exploring the city’s rich history, you won’t be disappointed. You’ll want to spend a day in Princeton! And don’t forget to visit the Nassau Arboretum and the Princeton University Museum of Modern Art.
